Would You Start a Long Trip Without an Itinerary?
Neither would we! That’s why we call engagement planning our “Itinerary,” so we can map out a course and define what our successful expected outcomes look like.
If you’re thinking about changing something at your organization, the first place to begin is with yourself. If you haven’t taken the time to frame the challenges you’re up against, talking to us may be a great place to start regardless of how you decide to proceed. Sometimes just mulling a situation over with someone who’s experienced in a certain area can bring clarity and insight. Begin a conversation today…
What Can I Expect When I Reach Out to Blackmor, CPA?
At a very high level, here’s what you can expect when you call us.
First we need to determine a little bit about your hospice or home health agency: history, culture, milestones and the obvious mission, vision and values. We need to look in the rear-view mirror before we can start looking forward. Sometimes doing a little digging reveals some easy fixes and simple technical hurdles that hold the organization back, while other conversations may reveal that the challenges run much deeper.
If the preliminary discussion reveals symptoms of bigger root problems, then we will give you an outline of the big picture. From here you can decide if you want to do more internal investigating or if you’d like our third party perspective to bring ‘fresh eyes’ to your organization. Eventually, when we have had a thorough meeting of the minds, then we can proceed with an engagement letter to formalize our understanding of the objectives of our relationship before proceeding.
Depending on the nature of the engagement, we will then proceed to follow through with planning the phases and executing on our objectives and deliverables, whether it’s one-time or ongoing and on-site or off-site.
